birthday celebration -part II (child care)

I've never made a fortune
and it's probably too late now
But I don't worry about that much,

I'm happy anyhow
and I go along life's way
I'm reaping better that I sowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
Cause my cup has overflowed

Haven't got a lot of riches
and sometimes the going's tough
But I've got loving ones all around me
and that makes me rich enough
I thank God for his blessings
and the mercies He's bestowed

I remember times when things went wrong
My faith wore somewhat thin
But all at once the dark clouds broke
and the sun peeped through again

So lord , help me not to gripe
about the many tough rows I have hoed

If God gives me strength and courage
When the way grows steep and rough
I'll not ask for other blessings
I'm already blessed enough

And may I never be too busy
to help others bear their loads
Then I'll keep drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed

When I think of how many people in this world have it worse
than I do, I realize just how blessed we really are

Lesson for the day..

Smooth roads never make good drivers
Smooth sea never makes good sailors
Clear Skies never makes good Pilot

Problem and hassle free Life NEVER makes a Strong person
Be Strong enough to accept the challenges of Life
Don't ask Life, 'Why Me' ? Instead say 'try Me!'

We complain about the cross we bear but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot.

Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine,
after the rain.... Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;
But God's always ready, to answer your call.... He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear...
Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light...
The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love.
